North Elm plays the kind of music that sounds best at 11pm in a room that's slightly too loud.
How we got here
North Elm formed in Newtown, PA in 2024 — five people who probably should have known better, but didn't, and are better for it.
We came together the way most good things do: a shared love of music, a mutual tolerance for each other's quirks, and a collective willingness to haul gear on a weeknight. The songs followed naturally from there.
We play the kind of music that feels lived-in. Not because we planned it that way, but because that's what happens when five real people with real lives show up and play together.

Who we are
Angie
Bass
Angie plays bass and holds down the low end with the same calm authority she brings to everything else in her life. A medical professional by day, an awesome parent, and the band's unofficial impressionist — her spot-on takes on each of her bandmates are, frankly, more accurate than any of us would like to admit. This band was looking for a bass player, Angie stepped up, and we never looked back.
Dan K.
Vocals
Dan K. is the voice of North Elm — literally. By day he navigates the world of finance with the same precision he brings to a melody. Off the clock he is a devoted family man, a committed ice hockey player, and a lifelong disciple of God Street Wine. On stage he finds the emotional center of a song and plants a flag there, then makes it look effortless.
Dan R.
Keyboard, Guitar & Vocals
Dan R. plays guitar, keyboards, and sings — sometimes all in the same song. He is a sound wizard and guides the band's audio and recording tech for practice and shows. A Mercer County, NJ native, he is also a generous family man and the band loves that he has opened his home for their equipment, practice sessions, and parties. Did we mention Dan comes up with the song lists!
Jeremy
Guitar
Jeremy plays guitar with the same careful attention he brings to his work in science — precise, curious, and always in service of something larger. A devoted family man and firm believer in Liberty, he once made it all the way to California, which the band considers his most adventurous act. He is the kind of player you notice most when you close your eyes and just listen.
Jeff
Drums
Jeff is the reason North Elm is known to improvise. A Mercer County, NJ native, a sometimes motivational speaker, and fellow God Street Wine devotee, he plays drums and is also a live looper — meaning he can build an entire sonic landscape by himself, but don't ask him to hang a shelf as it will not be level. He is a devoted family man, guided in equal measure by the love of sarcasm.
